A Preferred Women’s Health Center is an independent abortion provider, with locations in North Carolina and Georgia. Since 1998, APWHC locations have provided abortion care to over 100,000 patients in the South. After the Dobbs decision, we have seen first-hand how oppressive abortion restrictions have severely impacted patients and their families.

While being politically active has always been important to our organization, we feel a new sense of responsibility to inform ourselves, our patients, and our communities about the importance of this upcoming election.

We know that wading into politics can be overwhelming and unwelcoming - but it doesn’t have to be. We’re here to help. We have built this website to share the information we’ve gathered about voting processes, registration, and candidates that support abortion access.

Abortion is healthcare, plain and simple - and as abortion providers, we’ll be here to support our communities however we can.
